Battleground Monument
Monument to the Battle of Tippecanoe near Battleground, IN. Battle was fought on
November 7, 1811. It was responsible for discouraging various American Indiana Tribes
from joining together to fight for their territory. This battle opened up the North West Territories
of the United States and provided a motto for a president to be:
Tippecanoe (William Henry Harrison) and Tyler Too.
This model was made from scratch, not a kit. The oblisk was the most difficult.
